Montrose: Suitable for a group of 1, 2, 3 or 4 couples. Montrose is a seaside villa with a sweeping view over Warrington Beach.

History: It was built following WW1 using original kauri timber salvaged from the historic 1880 military barracks on nearby Taiaroa Head.

Grounds: Extensive flower and vegetable gardens,lawns and full size tennis court.


Activities: Direct access to the excellent swimming beach one minute away. Wonderful scenic coastal walks and drives. Horseriding and sea kayaking available. The famous peninsula wildlife - Royal Albatross, Yellow Eyed Penguins, seals and sea lions, plus Larnach's castle are within a day's activity. We can assist with planning and arranging your itinerary.

Beautifully restored bathroom with separate shower, Victorian cowled bath and antique copper systern toilet.

Separate toilet washroom also.

Kitchen dining area overlooks the gardens and beach. It has restored kauri floors with antique cottage furniture and Jotul Norwegian logburner.
